Registration is now open for the upcoming free Organization of Scientific Area Committees for Forensic Science (OSAC) Behind-the-Scenes Look meeting and webcast taking place in Seattle, WA, February 20, 2018, as part of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS) annual meeting.

Attendees will be the first to hear about the latest forensic science challenges being addressed by OSAC including current standards activities and future priorities. The OSAC is a collaborative body composed of more than 550 forensic science practitioners and other experts drawn from local, state, and federal agencies, academia, and industry. The OSAC mission is to strengthen the nation’s use of forensic science by supporting the development and promulgation of scientifically sound forensic science consensus documentary standards and guidelines. Ten separate presentations will be provided by the five SAC chairs, three Resource Committee chairs, the FSSB chair, and the Statistics Task Group chair. Presentations and questions from the audience will be webcast live and archived for future on-demand viewing. The OSAC invites all to attend and participate in this free event.

Register now for “What is OSAC Up To? A Behind-the-Scenes Look”.
